I have recently came accross this website and quite ineterested in getting back to the Table tennis.
One thing i am still unsure is how can i start. i have got my own bat and can definitely come to the club after 7.30 pm. but i havent got a partner. also how much it would cost me to play as a non member if get a partner.

I'm not actually new to this site, but just forgot/mislaid my login details and so re- applied using a different login name. So I Know the centre and have played there for about 10 yearsl. I play for Elstree & Borehamwood 2 in the 2nd division and our home venue is at Maxwell Road, Borehamwood. See you at the centre,

Friday evening is your best bet. This is an open evening starting at 7.30 pm.
Cost is I believe for non members £5 for the whole evening. You dont need a partner its just open house everyone plays everyone.
The other option would be Sat evening same time when a handicap singles tournament is held.
I believe this is a £4 entry. The main attraction is that you are handicaped no matter how good or weak you are, so every game should in theory be very close.
