Why do all the Juniors have to make dumb noises when they win a point ? Then when they lose a point they moan and whine as if some great disaster has happened. Last night Steve Tomas was talking about a match which Michael Maze played in and Robert Barasso said he had a DVD of the match in his bag (is that sad or what). So we played it on the computer and guess what, Michael Maze played the whole match in silence, no shouting, no whinging, he just kept calm throughout the match. At the end of the match he gave an interview and said he was very nervous but did not want his opponent to know that so tried to look as calm as possible. Perhaps there is a lesson to be learned from this.
