Summer Handicap Final

The final of the Summer Handicap Competition took place over Xmas
A very competitive match was finally won by Shaw Adeyfield 12-8 over
Redbridge Social

Les Leech,Mark York and Colin Tibbles the leaders of Division 1 overcame Sebastion Golebioski,Asif Anwar and Richard Adenaike the leaders of Division A.

Well done to both teams.

Xmas Party

The Annual Xmas Party will take place on the 19th Dec
The usual mixture of plenty of food and plenty of fun starts
about 20.30 to the wee small hours
Prices including food are
Adult Members £6 Adult Visitors £8
Junior Members £4 Junior Visitors £5

Master Class Returns

Master Class "The Training Sessions for The Elite Players" has restarted
Every Thursday from !8.00-19.45 ,if invited, you will be put through your paces by the club coach Ashley Stokes and various other top coaches and players.
The cost for members is £10 for a one off session or £40 for a series of 5.
For non members the cost is £12 and £50 for a seri9es of 5.
If you have genuine financial difficulties in paying these amounts please contact Ray Swart at the club

Sunday Morning Training

Sunday Morning training returns on Sept 7th

This very popular  session will run from 11.00-13.00 (Doors open 10.45)

The trainers will include Robert Barrasso, Dob Tokov and Ray Swart (only one at a time)

The cost is £4 for adults and £3 for juniors

The Max Thomas-Airport Direct Handicap was a great success.The most valuable handicap in the table tennis calender,attracted 32
starters

31 st August is the day -Barnet TableTennis Centre is the place-

The biggest handicap in the table tennis calender starts at 10.00 and the prize money is a staggering  £300

The winner of the main event gets £100 the runner up £50 and the 2 loosing semi finalists £25

The consolation winner gets £50 Runner up £25 and the losing semi finalists £12,50

Premier Division Cup Final

The final of the Premier Division Cup saw another exciting and extremely close fought match between Potters Bar and Urban Progress I.

Handicap Cup Final

The closing stages of the Handicap produced 2 excellent semi-finals and a classic close encounter in the final.
Hadley Wood 5 (Jim Wallace, Martin Jones, Julian Buckton) beat Kidston 4 by just a few points in their semi and Herts Unison (Malcolm Nash, Tony Brown, Kal Azad) just got the better of Exiles 7 in their semi.
The final was a close encounter with never more than 5 points between the teams.The winners Herts Unison just prevailed in a tense last game.
Congratulations to the winners and all the teams that took part.
